Shodan (Search Engine)

Shodan is often called the “search engine for the Internet of Things.” Instead of indexing websites like Google Search, it indexes devices connected to the internet. Security professionals use it to find things like: Internet-connected cameras Routers and firewalls Servers and databases Industrial control systems IoT devices (smart homes, sensors, etc.) It works by scanning the internet and recording metadata about open ports and services running on devices.
